God is indeed a God purpose. We may not always see what's ahead, but if we are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
and obey, God will use us and do great and mighty works in our midst.
I didn't exactly understand right away why God would send Ptr. Fel and I to Korea. But on a daily basis God would
reveal the great need for revival among the Filipino churches in Korea. Many pastors are discouraged and longing for a fresh
touch of God. Our precious OFW's many of them "TNT" or tago ng tago are afraid because of the aggresive crackdown
of the Korean government of illegal migrants. On a daily basis bus loads of illegals of different nationalities are being
caught and taken to detention centers. Everyone is caught in an atmosphere of fear and anxiety.
Ptr. Fel and I arrived in Korea on the early morning of Sunday, August 7,2005. On the same day at 3:00 PM I preached
at the Good Friends International Church. There was only a handful of attendees as many of the former members were caught
by the immigration and the rest are afraid to venture out of their places of work and residences. The meeting went well and
many were encouraged by the word. Every Sunday thereafter I was preaching to different churches bringing the gospel
of hope and spirit of revival to all. It's amazing how God has work among these churches who were like dry parch of land longing
for rain, God really poured out his Spirit with many being slain in the spirit as they are prayed over.
Our host has briefed us regarding the spiritual condition of the churches here. There is so much ritual on church services
but no life. Immorality is prevalent. Overcome by loneliness, "Couples" as they are commonly called here are married
persons who cohabitate as husband and wife for purposes of sexual fulfilment and economy. Some TNT's has also resorted to
looting to make some money. Pastors has their hands full, helping OFW's will all sorts of problem. But God so love them
that He send us over to tell them about the love of Christ.
On September 17, about 60 people including us boarded two buses and headed to the Prayer Mountain for our much awaited
Encounter God Retreat (EGR). It was raining very hard and it took us about 41/2 hours travel time before we reach our
venue. For the next three days we were soaked in God's power and the Holy Spirit moved in a very special way,
ministering to every spiritual need of the delegates. Ptr.Fel Aquino and I handled all the sessions. We thank God
that he has given us the strenght throughout the retreat, we have lost our voice though at the conclusion. The delegates
testified of physical healing, deliverance, and revival. The churches who participated in this retreat are now on fire and
beginning to feel the impact on their churches. We give God all the glory for all he has done.
I would like to thank God and all the people who have in one way or the other have contributed to the success of
this retreat. To my dear church members at Angeles City, thank you for your prayers and support. To all those who have sown
their seed and financially supported this trip, I'm sure you will be generously rewarded by God.
To Shaun and Janet of UK, thank you for your prayers and generosity. To the Good Friends International Church headed
by Rev. Bae and Missionary Robert Valerio for hosting us in Korea, The Beautiful Church of Rev. Won for providing
the invitation, and Pastors Fely Chan, Rosemarie Rapanut, Pastor George and all the pastors who have supported and participated
in this EGR Retreat. God bless you all.
Please pray for the other doors the Lord has opened to us to conduct EGR, in Dubai, Qatar, Angola, Hong Kong and Australia.
God bless you!
